Ann Co (Co Hun Tiok 許雲竹)
In His gentle grace, our Almighty God, guided Co Hun Tiok (Ann) home to be with Him on the morning of August 16, 2021 at 9:30am.
She was born in China on Nov. 16, 1931. The third of four siblings, two of whom predeceased her. Her family immigrated to the Philippines in the mid 1930’s, where she met her husband, Tan Piac Yao (Gaw Hi). They were married at United Evangelical Church of the Philippines on March 23, 1952.
She was a morning person, who rises early to pray and read her Bible. She loves preparing wonderful meals for others while she remained behind the scenes. She had continued to cook even when her health started declining in late September 2020. She is someone who cherishes her friends, as she had continued to keep in touch with her classmates from St. Stephen High School. She is also someone who kept her Christian faith despite many trials and difficulties. She was active in the visitation ministry of the Women’s Fellowship at her home church, Christian Bible Church of the Philippines.
She later immigrated to the United States in 2000 to be with her daughters after her husband passed away in 1999.
She is survived by her five (5) children & their spouses (starting from eldest to youngest) - Richard Gaw Ling and Shirley, Shirley, Easter and Norwin, Benjamin and Analee, and Philip. Her eight (8) grandchildren - Jarreau, Nicole, Andee, Nathan, Noah, Faith, Caleb, Nicholas, and a great grand child, Yllaria.
